Man’s body found on Indian reservation

SAN DIEGO – A middle-aged man’s body was found at a home on the Pala Indian Reservation Wednesday night and deputies are investigating his death as a possible homicide.

Deputies sent to the residence on Robles Way near Nejo Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday found the unidentified dead man, who appeared to have been in his mid-40s and had “obvious signs of trauma to his upper body,” sheriff’s Lt. Dan Brislin said.

Homicide detectives were called in to investigate, the lieutenant said.

An autopsy likely will take place Friday, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
