Suspicious package reported at Oceanside DMV

SAN DIEGO — The DMV in Oceanside was evacuated Thursday after a suspicious package was found outside, according to CHP.

Around 11:05 a.m., an Oceanside police officer reported an ammo case next to his vehicle at 4005 Plaza Drive.

A bomb squad blew up the case and found a computer hard drive.

The scene was cleared by 2 p.m.
