El Cajon Supercross rider returns to track after 2 year retirement

SAN DIEGO - As Supercross motorcyclist take over Petco Park Saturday for the second time in a month, El Cajon rider Christian Craig hopes to continue his winning ways.

A string of injuries forced El Cajon Supercross 250 rider Christian Craig to retire from racing in 2013, but after the birth of his son, the 25-year-old athlete decided to return to the track for the 2016 season.

It didn't take long for Craig to get situated as he claimed his first career win in Phoenix last Saturday.

Craig is looking for victory in his hometown of San Diego this Saturday at Petco Park in the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Series.
