SAN DIEGO – Two teens were stabbed at a house party in the Mountain View neighborhood, police said Sunday.

Officers were called to a house party on the 4300 block of Delta Street just before midnight Saturday, where a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed in the back and elbow and struck on the head with a stick.

A 16-year-old boy tried to help the first victim, and was stabbed in the back. Both were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, according to Officer Robert Heims.

A fight broke out as the party was breaking up and guests where being told to leave. Heims said the suspects were described as Hispanic men wearing hats, and about 18 to 19 years old.

The incident happened near 43rd Street, on San Diego’s south side.
