SAN DIEGO -- A man was arrested Tuesday after hitting multiple cars while speeding away from an undercover drug bust in City Heights, according to police.

Around 6:30 p.m., officers tried to stop the driver, who drove off after police say he saw another suspect get arrested after a failed drug sale.

He sped through the streets and lost control, hitting at least four cars near 41st and Wightman streets. The man got out of the car and hobbled away before he was arrested on a nearby freeway.

A 10-year-old was taken to hospital and a family was treated for injuries.
