ESCONDIDO, Calif. — An investigation was underway Monday into a possibly gang-related shooting at an Escondido apartment complex that left two young men injured.

Someone called 911 after hearing several gunshots around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, in the vicinity of the apartments on East Felicita Avenue near South Juniper Street, Escondido Police Department Lt. Al Owens said.

The 19- and 21-year-old victims took themselves to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening wounds before police arrived, Owens said.

A description of the shooter was not immediately available, but Owens said the suspect’s vehicle was a Nissan Titan.

I guess the good people of Esco are gonna have to deal with the significant gang problem plaguing their community.

They’ve allowed America-hating organizations (aclu, et al) push around the city fathers.

You get what you deserve until you stand up to these schmucks and take back your city from illegal alien gang members.

  • The criminal will always get a weapon!

Sad but true! No amount of legislation will prevent a bad guy from getting a weapon! But, Legislation will keep you or your upright and law abiding neighbor from purchasing personal protection! Stay PRO CHOICE! Email your assembly member and tell them how important it is that no new laws are made on firearms! The laws will restrict YOU not the CRIMINAL! Government is not the solution, Government is the problem (Ronald Reagan)

These idiots spend more time allowing criminals to go free and harming law-abiding citizens than they do assisting US citizens.

It’s a comedy of errors but we keep electing these knuckleheads…

As a nearby resident of this crime I can safely say that the area where this took place is in fact not taken over by gangs, the shooter was most likely a gang member but the victims were not.
