SAN DIEGO — A 76-year-old motorist suffered serious injuries Tuesday in a collision at a Rancho Bernardo intersection.

After yielding for a stop sign on the westbound side of Paseo Lucido at Bernardo Heights Parkway, the woman pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to San Diego police. The resulting collision left her with a broken pelvis and a fractured left thigh bone, Officer Dan Lasher said.

The other driver reported no injuries.

Police do not believe that intoxication was a factor in the crash.
