SAN DIEGO -- San Diego County is expected to get wet on Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

A storm system headed down the state's coast will bring cool temperatures and showers all over the county, the NWS predicted in its forecast discussion.

The rains will mostly be mild, the NWS said, but there is a possibility for thunderstorms with some heavy rain.

The storm is expected to leave the region on Monday.
