LA JOLLA, Calif. — A Chase Bank in La Jolla was robbed Saturday, San Diego police said.

At around 2 p.m., the suspect, believed to be in his mid-30s, entered the bank located in the 5600 block of La Jolla Boulevard.

He forced the teller to give him money and left the scene headed north on the same street on foot, Sgt. Ray Battrick said.

Battrick described the robber as a tall, thin man who wore a blue hat, tan jacket, and baggy tan shorts.

The total amount of cash he stole was not released. No one was injured, Battrick said.
