NEW YORK – A woman’s video showing her grandfather singing to her dying grandmother will bring you to tears and show you that true love really does exist.

Erin Solari said her grandparents, Laura, 93, and Howard, 92, have been married 73 years and that Laura is “making peace with her final days.”

Erin captured a precious moment between the two: Howard singing their love song, “You’ll Never Know.” Erin says it was a song that comforted Laura when Howard went away to fight in World War II. Then, the two would sing it together. It’s so special to them, that Erin says when her grandparents renewed their vows, they performed it as a duet in front of the whole family.

Her grandmother has macular degeneration, so she can’t see much, but that “doesn’t stop her from looking deep into her love’s eyes.”
