Smoke pours out of barbershop

SAN DIEGO – Several crews extinguished a fire in University Heights after smoke was seen pouring out of a barbershop Tuesday.

A fire broke out inside a barbershop at 4009 Park Boulevard around 10:55 a.m.  It took five fire engine crews 25 minutes to extinguish the flames.

No one was reportedly injured.  What caused the fire to spark was under investigation.

Several business operate at the building including a tattoo shop and cell phone repair company.
