FOX LAKE, Ill. -- Police were searching for three men who shot and killed a police officer 60 miles north of Chicago on Tuesday, sources tell WGN.

At a brief news conference Tuesday, authorities said they were searching for two white men and one black man. A large perimeter has been set up and multiple helicopters and police dogs units are searching the area. Police will not confirm the officer has died, only saying that his condition is unknown.

Their search was near Rollins Road between Washington Avenue and state Route 59. All schools in the area were placed on lockdown.

Authorities have not released descriptions of the men.

I’m guessing they were more of the violent animals from BLM.

Round them up and put them in zoos where they can’t hurt people who wish to live in a civilized society.
