CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Six years ago, Andy Rios and his Park View teammates found themselves in Williamsport, Pennsylvania at the Little League World Series.

The team went on to win the whole thing, giving San Diego its first major world title in any sport.

"It's just something in my mind I will never forget. Greatest feeling, tossing glove up in the air, putting ball in back pocket, dog piling on one another and to say 'we made it,'" Rios said.

Rios also finds himself rooting for the team from Bonita now playing in Pennsylvania.

"Just like us -- we fell to the team from Texas and we came back and beat them, so nothing is impossible," Rios said.

Rios graduated from high school in 2014 and already has one year of college baseball under his belt. He is enrolled at Grossmont College, where he will play this season in hopes of getting drafted by a major league team. If not, he plans to line up a scholarship to study kinesiology at a university.
