Man injured when car overturns

SAN DIEGO — A man was injured after his car overturned Wednesday evening in Kearny Mesa.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Ruffner Street at Dagget Street.


The driver, a man in his 70s, was driving southbound on Ruffner Street when he veered off and hit a parked car, causing his silver sedan to overturn. He was removed from the vehicle and placed in an ambulance to be transported.

The extent of his injuries was not known, according to San Diego police.
