CINCINNATI, Ohio — A man whose sister lost her ability to walk after a 2009 car crash jumped into action Friday after seeing a woman driving erratically on the highway.

USA Today reported that Sam Haynes, 26, called police and used his cell phone to record the chaotic driver on Interstate 275 in Cincinnati.

“Something just clicked in my head and I knew I had to follow her,” he told USA Today. “That’s when I started recording.”

The video shows Haynes following the woman driving a Chevrolet Cavalier. She drives in and out the of the lanes, and at one point, drives completely off the highway into the grass median.

She pulls back onto the highway and eventually slows down and pulls over.

He gets out of his vehicle and confronts her in her car, and the woman apologizes profusely. USA Today reported that they both sat in the median waiting for police and that the woman eventually passed out.

She was cited for driving under the influence.

Haynes posted his video on his Facebook page, and it’s been shared over 10,000 times.
