Woman airlifted from ship off Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A woman was airlifted from a ship about 50 miles west of Oceanside Saturday.

The Coast Guard said the woman, 54, experienced symptoms of a heart attack and was evacuated about 10 a.m.

She was safely hoisted on to a helicopter and taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital. Her condition was not released.

The passenger ship was named the Pacific Star.
