Trump is not a typical politician so people shouldn’t expect typical answers !
Trump is just being himself and that’s what we need !

      • Phil Davenport

Trump was his typical asshole self, and he was NOT more honest than the rest, just more self-centered. I don’t want an asshole egomaniac for a president, I want someone with class and tact like Dr. Ben Carson.

        • Kurt Graber

No doubt that Ben Carson is a class act and was easily my favorite candidate last night. Unfortunately America is tired of bad deals, bad ideas and not getting the job done. Nice guys like Dr Ben appear to get walked and trampled just showing up at the table with very reasonable views. Again, If this happens, we lose again. Trump strikes the people as a guy that isn’t going to put up with the Political correctness BS. I respected Trump last night for admitting he buys politicians and expects favors in return. We all know thats going on, its corrupt and always will be. Trump is a mean, hard core, tell it like it is kinda guy that will take charge. So far the polls show, people want a leader, fixer, and really don’t care about a nice guy. Phil your heart is in the right place, I agree with what you say but I’m leaning towards the asshole. I’m ready to get the borders closed, good negotiating deals with foreign countries and start strengthening our nation.

        • Dave Straub

You are on the money Phil. Trump is egomaniacal and America is being swooned by the fact that he is doing a Howard Stern imitation. I listen to Stern every day and love him, but do I see him in the White House representing the world’s greatest superpower with the world’s greatest maniacs ? Trump is a nut and if he can’t have his way, He’ll kick and scream like a kid at first grade recess who lost the ball.

Trump/Carson or Trump/Fiorina will work for me. If Trump runs the US economy only half as well as his businesses everyone will prosper. VP? Carson is a genius and fully understands the ‘Peter Principle’ and Fiorina know what’s up. Either one with Trump would be a victory. My only fear is that a lot of the average and below-average awareness of what’s going down in our country voters dob’t understand a lot of Trump’s sarcasm. That’s rough, so to speak!!

This is what I perceive from the debate setup. Everyone knew the answer Mr. Trumps position with regard to being loyal to the republican party. I thought the panel interjected and was bias a little. I agree Mr. Trump could of answered better. But what do we want from our politicians? Honesty right? Now that we have more honesty it seems that it is too much to handle! {What you see is what you get} Now being honest is bad. Give me a break. A man can change and regret things said in the past. Did he deny? NO he told the truth. The republican party is scaring the people who do not do research into political issues and fox news is involved. Now the big thing is going to be ,oh no a third party is bad! Well it is about time we do away with the party.Like Mr. Cruz said. Why have a republican party that does nothing for us after we gave them the congress. Honesty is the issue not Mr. Trump past statements on women. Fox news is being too PC! Mr Cruz and Mr. Paul and Mike H were the honest ones. I can not leave out Ben Carson who is right on and thinks a lot about the seriousness of every subject. He was right about the semi brain of Obama. But lets us get to the gist of this debate is honesty and now that is bad! Rand Paul is correct about the ten commandments oh I mean the BIll of Rights! Give me a break. We need more truth. It is refreshing to see a comeback of morals.Edit (in 4 minutes)

      I agree.
Trump would NOT commit to NOT running as a third party candidate and he got booed – and he did not change his answer. You think Trump did not know the “political answer” to give (i.e. what the other 9 did)?

Of course Trump knew the “easy answer” that would not cost him fewer votes but he stuck to his guns and told the truth. Trump will not be the kind of president that says “Read my Lips, no new taxes” and then raise taxes. Trump will not be the kind of president that says: ” I did not have sex with that women.” which was a lie. Trump will not be the kind of president that says:
      (a) “If you like your health care plan you can keep it – which turned out to be a big lie.
      (b) “Your health care will go down in cost.” Big Lie.
      (c) “Not one dime of Obamacare will go to Abortions”. Big lie.
      (d) “I cannot pass amnesty through executive action”. True but Obama did it anyway

Consider this: What happened after this past election when voters put Republicans in control of both houses of Congress? The Republicans became a bigger supporter of Obama than Harry Reid had been!!!

Even if one likes EVERYTHING the Republican political hacks said one cannot trust them to support any of those things once they are elected into office. In fact, one would be closer to the truth if one viewed what the Republican hacks said in the debate as exactly what they will NOT do once elected to office.

Nope, SCREW YOU Republican Establishment – I am voting for Trump.

He won’t go independent. He said that, because he has leverage in the polls. He really wants to win as a republican. So, the republican party needs to back him 1000% because he is striking a core with the American people and it’s so obvious. He is a straight talker, and a very smart man and knows how to handle tough situation and comes out on top. We should absolutely want him as our leader. A very sharp man who truly loves this country. He gave up his past life and is sticking his neck out for each and every American. Very VERY VERY cool. One of a kind person. Our country will only go up, and go up well when he is in office.

  • Chris Xavier

Wow! I look at the GOP who want to ‘beef up’ arms and armies and military and I think “Bush Sr. & Jr.” all over again.
Trump has all the connections in the world to get things done – you appoint someone like him as President – not some war mongering, ‘neo-conservatives’. SOOOO interesting that as soon as the topic of reforming the IRS came about the moderators quickly dropped the subject because the IRS is governed by Israel…everybody knows it. TRUMP. TRUMP. TRUMP…TRUMP. TRUMP. Fox News – sooooo obvious they staged that focus group after the debate.

    TRUMP 4 PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eric Briggs

Taking an honest look at all of these candidates–how can you not vote for Trump? First off I don’t care what he said Rosie Odonell in 2006.

    Here is the winning points
Only candidate who has MBA in Economics from UPenn and runs a billion $ corporation. Has experience dealing with high debt levels and a door to almost all of the best minds in USA.
    Has backbone and guts.
Has a sense of humor–I only saw Huckabee and Rubio with reasonable personalities.
To me he has worked HARDER than any of these other candidates in this race–the energy level is very high vs others even at 69. The guy wants it—the others are fake!

    • kenny

You must be losing your mind or never been in AC and got to watch Trump letting all his properties go bankrupt, all you need is to listen to him carefully and watch him react, he talks a lot but he has no idea how to solve problems Carson or Rubio so far

  • Peter Schoonover

Trump “You don’t want the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn what you think you are entitled to.”

  • Carmella Griggers

Ben Carson is clearly the best Choice for the Republican Party. He handled himself with poise and class and gave answers that this country is looking for. He represents all of of us and I believe he will be a President that will allow both parties to work together.

  • Jerry

I am pleased that Trump is not afraid to being up issues that need addressing but honestly he was terrible in the debate.

  • Bill

Trump won because he was honest, the rest are typical PC politicians. I never liked Trump a few years ago, but I choose him over the rest. Megyn Kelly’s poor questions backfired on her and Fox news

  • Frank

Trump was the best. Trump-Rubio would be a good ticket. More than anything, last night showed any of the ten are better suited to be president than Hillary. And what’s with the commentators, acting like they’re from MSNBC or at least CNN. This is why I stopped watching fox news after the last election after years of viewing.

  • Marlene

In my opinion, it was a Rubio #1 and Ben Carson #2. The others sounded like political ads with the exception of Trump who simply had no substance in his answers(if you can call that answers). You would have thought that after many Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, he would have learned how to anwer a question..

Trump is ENDING THE LIES OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ! Thank God for Donald Trump! He is willing to tell the Truth ! His courage to speak the truth will please God and God will bless him as the leader of the free world. Let the light shine, Mr. Trump! Make America Great Again! And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

    • Bbettybambalam

Get over the insults for Christ sake. This country has become the toilet paper for the rest of the world. Trump is the ONLY answer right now. Get your priorities in order. He may just save your sorry ass when the bombs start flying.

I think it was too close to call. Cruz, Paul, Huckabee, Carson, Rubio, Trump all had moments. I do not like Chris Christie disregard of the fourth amendment.

  • Debbie

    Ok,

Cadish won hands down with Carson as runner up. I wanted to vote for Trump and I like him but he is too boorish and full of himself to be president. I think why people want Trump is because we are so dumbed down as a society

  • Lee

Dr. Carson brought real, clear solutions to the table last night. He was very thoughtful in his responses and his demeanor is of that cool, calm and collective that you look for in a strong LEADER. Not clear is Trump wants to be president or just to win in order to satisfy his ego of being the most powerful man in the world. Dr. Carson, however, wants to be POTUS.

  • RMKane

This country has become disenchanted with the political parties as we see them. Both side are willing to lie to the people and take money from the lobbist groups to further their own political gains. NOT what the people of this country want. What we have seen from Mr. Trump is a refreshing, “stand up to the political party system”. A willingness to speak his mind, right or wrong, to tell it like it is. For the People. Until the rest of the “party” politicans are willing to listen to the people and work for the people. Mr.Trump is going to keep standing firm for the people of the country.

  • burninbluesman@aol.com

Trump won, stop baiting him, it didn’t work and we can all see you…we see what you’re trying to do…..failing terribly we might add.

  • Marco Poloneck

Megyn Kelly was rude, unprofessional, and asked questions of Trump that really no American cares about. It was obvious she and FOX News does not like Trump however I think her dog and pony show backfired. It left her looking like a dummy.

    • Karly

Exactly! What he said about some woman years ago is irrelevant. What does it have to do with the current issues of our borders, the Iran nuclear deal, taxes, jobs, the economy, abortions, etc.? Absolutely nothing! Singling out Trump with this question was clearly Ms. Kelly’s way of trying to discredit him. Very disappointing indeed.

  • Anne

I can’t believe majority of people think that Trump won the debate, I think he is the loser of this debate. He kept saying insults, demonstrated lack of morals telling to the audience how he BUYS politicians to get favors (and then he speaks about Hillary…), how he made use of bankruptcy (4 times) for his own benefit and make more money, he didn’t say anything substantial on how he will fix the issues of this country, and you had Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Huckabee who did great in the debate, very well prepared candidates. I think Marco Rubio is the winner of the Debate, and people should go to the website of the candidates and see their proposals and how they will impact the economy of this country, and foreign policy, etc. Do people vote over emotion in USA? I don’t get it.

  • Jim

More and more people are not affiliating with either party. The Donald did himself justice showing the moxy to not fold under the question to pledge not to run as a third party candidate. One would feel that the Republican establishment would embrace Mr. Trump as he has captivated America. Seems to me that exactly what the party has been needing. They need a new identity in politics that redirects there party out of the do nothing politics as usual. The Donald was honest, not polished but at least he wasn’t rehearsed like the others from either debate. Republican party will find them selves in the White house again if they would fall in behind the Don and help him with the articulation of his message. Don’t ask him to be dishonest or be polished. America is tired of do nothing politics and special interests controlling our futures. Here is the Republican Parties moment and they need to seize it! He would easily beat Hillary in a general election if the the party would get away from the same old stale, close minded approach. Honesty is refreshing and the boldness not to cave is as well!

  • Justin

Trump accomplishes whatever he sets out to do. Politicians talk pretty, portray class, make promises but have no clue how to be the kind of operator Trump is. Trump could say anything and I’d still back him because at the end of the day, as we have learned over the last 8 years, talking nice out the side of your mouth does nothing for everyday Americans. SHOW ME THE MONEY! Trump will do that.

  • Susan Bates

Could Trump be the “Card” that the Democrats are playing? He is an embarrassment to the Republican Party and I don’t consider him a candidate for anything.

  • BA

The sissy-baby media can’t accept that Trump won. When asked the question if he would support the candidate that won, he should have known that was a trick question! And then he would simply respond by saying, “Would any or all of you support me if I won”? I think not !!

  • Joel

Trump all day!! This is exactly what America needs, like him or not, we need some fresh blood in Washington who is not afraid to stand up to our Foes across the world. Immigration, weak military, being bullied by the Middle East and Russia, that is a topic no one else is covering and standing strong on except for….. Trump.

    • BA

Exactly! When Trump looks and comes across as mean, it is not directed to America / Americans. Why can’t the media see this? We have had a COWARD behind the wheel for several years now, and it’s high time we get someone in office who will be a strong and COURAGEOUS leader for America!!

  • Edna

The best thing Trump said again and again: our American leaders are stupid!

He says it like it is and politicians can’t stand hearing the truth…they really are stupid and their political correctness have done nothing for this country.
I came to this country as a LEGAL immigrant. I’m now an American citizen. I agree with 90% Donald Trump said. He will have my vote. If the RNC and registered Republicans think a typical politician can beat Hillary Clinton, you’re delusional! Donald Trump IMO is the only one who stands a chance at beating Hillary Clinton.

  • L G

Trump was the only one honest enough to raise his hand , but don’t be surprised if Rand Paul, Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz run as an independent as a Tea party candidate.

    • BA

L C said: “Trump was the only one honest enough to raise his hand”

A very good point! Absolutely right. Some of the others may have wanted to raise their hand ?? but were afraid to show it, and we don’t need that. And besides, where does it say that a candidate or all candidates have to support the winner??

  • Alice in REAL LAND

I AM WOMAN…..HEAR ME ROAR !!!! GO DONALD TRUMP !!!! THANK GOD we have some who stands up for ME ! The thing is…. Donald Trump is a man ( who doesnt need this very hard job of running this country….and all the BS he would have to deal with ) who sees the problems, goes for the solutions, and has the experience to HANDLE all the “BIG DOGS” of the world because he is one. I WANT a “BIG DOG” that is up front, no BS, who LOVES this COUNTRY and will try to KICK SOME ASS to get things DONE! We all know that the President (s) are “handle” by the ones who have the money and Trump can handle that issue (s) when it comes to a power play of what is good for the country. It’s time for the People of this country to WAKE UP and THINK… don’t go by what the media says….. listen to the Man that is speaking . I see the Media “be-littling” him and all his accomplishments…..but I see through this BS…. Trump is not perfect but NO MAN is…. but he is my Man ! Being a woman….. I found Ms. Kelly to have a few problems of her own …like EGO!!!!Come on…. I am not a woman who is affended by a man…… if you can’t play with the big boys get of the F–king kitchen! And Clinton…. boy …I pray to GOD that women and men see through her BS…….SERIOUSLY ! She will F–K UP this country because she is already BOUGHT !!! PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY PLEASE WAKE UP….. THINK….WE CAN HAVE A GREAT NATION AGAIN BUT ONLY IF WE GET SOMEONE WHO CAN HANDLE THEM !!!! GOVERNMENT!!!! I LOVE YOU TRUMP!!! KEEPING GOING NO MATTER WHAT !!!!!!!XOXO

I’m still trying to figure out how the people who hated John Kerry for being a “flip-flopper” and hate Obama for being “arrogant” and acting like a “king” or emperor are falling for Trump. If you want 4 more years of a deadlocked Congress and unconstitutional executive orders, then by all means, support a guy like Trump.

  • Sonja Hand

Do you know why Trump won?
    1. The “PLEDGE”, everyone knows that was a complete setup, Trump showed balls.
Was that very same pledge asked in the first debate of the 7 candidates? The “PLEDGE”, was a total setup aimed at taking down the NEGOTIATOR…
    2. Double standards.
Endless badgering about “sexist” remarks as relates to WOW. The same gotcha questioning conservatives say is all to often unfair and demeaning… Really Megyn? who gaf about the distant past.

  • Johnny Wong

You gotta be kidding looking at the result of this poll. Trump still leading? He pretty much dodge lots of the questions.

Personally I think Rubio stepped up. I hope he gets more coverage.

  • n smith

If you want smoke blown up your rear end then hang your hat on the traditional politician, if you want to her it like it is and maybe in the not so politically correct way then Trump is that person
