I played LL in North Park in the late 60’s and while I was not on Mr. Schloss’s team, my parents did buy my baseball gear at his shop. He and his dad were excellent role models, always willing to talk about baseball or anything else a young man might have on his mind. It makes me smile to read that Joe is still doing his best for the community and the people who live there. A really good stand-up guy.
