Border agents run to honor fallen camrade

EL CENTRO, Calif. -- U.S. Border Patrol employees from the San Diego and El Centro sectors honored the memory of a fallen comrade this week with the sixth annual Robert Rosas Jr. Memorial Relay Run.

About 50 agents and support personnel participated in the 56 mile run which began Wednesday and ended Thursday at Rosas' grave in El Centro.

Rojas was gunned down by several men near the U.S. -Mexico border while he was on patrol on July 23, 2009.
