The victim, 43, called San Diego police and said that he had been stabbed in his chest at the 400 block of Broadway at 3:15 a.m. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Officers arrived quickly and arrested the suspect, identified as 64-year-old Santiago Gonzalez Abraham, Jr. He was booked into San Diego County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Wednesday, Lt. Mike Hastings said.
