SAN DIEGO – Police arrested three suspects linked to a string of violent armed street robberies around North Park in the past month.

Detectives linked the trio to several cases in North Park and said similar cases occurred at Fashion Valley, La Mesa and Rancho San Diego.

Investigators served search warrants at a home in El Cajon last week and took Anthony Brewer, 18, and 24-year-old Natunza Reed into custody, San Diego police said. A handgun believed to be the weapon used in the attacks and property belonging to several victims were seized from the home.

The pair were charged with multiple counts of robbery, burglary and firearm related crimes.

A third suspect only identified as a 17-year-old person was arrested at a separate locations.  Another handgun was recovered during that search, according to investigators.

Detectives were continuing to investigate the crimes, including three burglaries in Del Cerro, Tierrasanta and Paradise Hills.
