Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs arrested at UCLA, police say
LOS ANGELES — Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested Monday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on the UCLA campus, according to police.
Combs was arrested about 12:30 p.m. at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex, Los Angeles Times reported. The alleged assault involved a kettlebell, police said in a news release.
No one was seriously injured, police said.
Combs is expected to be taken to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center Monday evening, police said.
Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a defensive back on the Bruins’ football team.
