LAS VEGAS –  R&B singer Chris Brown is wanted for allegedly beating up a man at a Las Vegas hotel early Monday morning.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, Brown was allegedly playing basketball at the Palms Casino Resort when he got into a verbal confrontation with the male victim. Cops say “Loyal” singer punched the victim, who was then hit by another man who was with the singer, PIX11 reported.

The man was treated at Sunrise Hospital for his injuries and released.

Brown has a choice of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery or have the case submitted to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, according to authorities. Las Vegas police said they have not heard from the Brown or his attorney.

In March, a judge officially released Brown from his probation stemming from the 2009 pre-Grammy assault of his then-girlfriend, pop sensation Rihanna.
