SAN DIEGO - One person was killed late Monday evening near SeaWorld after plummeting about 20 feet off the Ingraham Street bridge, according to police.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, was headed east on West Mission Bay Drive just before 8:30 p.m. when he lost control and the car tumbled from the bridge, landing upside-down on the transition to Sunset Cliffs Blvd from Ingraham Street. The driver died at the scene.
Police shut down roads in the area during the investigation.
