Pedestrian struck in Escondido intersection

ESCONDIDO, Calif. — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at an Escondido intersection Friday morning.

The crash at West Mission Avenue and North Quince Street was reported around 8:15 a.m., according to Escondido police and fire officials.

The injured pedestrian was taken was taken to Palomar Medical Center to be treated, a dispatcher said.
