SAN DIEGO – Police were looking for a suspected drunk driver who stole a car and plowed it through a reinforced brick wall Tuesday night.

The California Highway Patrol originally tried to pull the car over around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday for weaving between lanes. The driver led policeĀ on a chase in the stolen car before crashing into the wall at Paradise Valley Road and Potomac Street in Bay Terraces.

The driver managed to get away from CHP during the chase, but officers caught back up with the stolen vehicle after it slammed into the brick wall, which was reinforced with rebar. The force of the crash sent pieces of the wall flying up to 20 feet away. The wall prevented the car from crashing into a home on the other side.

A woman riding in the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver hopped out and ran from police. He remained on the loose Wednesday morning.

The women will be pregnant with the guy’s baby in the near future. People wonder why we are so screwed up and this is due to our $uck up laws not holding these people responsive for the cost of the damages. I hope they got hurt really bad.
