SAN DIEGO – Two men ransacked a camera equipment store in Kearny Mesa and stole a large amount of equipment and the company truck, police said Saturday.

Surveillance video of the burglary of George's Camera and Video Exchange at 7475 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard was released by San Diego police.  It shows two men prying the backdoor open.

"They seem to know where to hit and what they were looking for," said store employee Larry McDaniel.

McDaniel discovered the store had been burglarized into around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

"I found the alarm off the wall, things on the floor, cases ripped open," McDaniel said.

“A large amount of camera equipment was stolen,” said San Diego Police Sgt. Ray Battrick.

According to the owner, the two men also got away with the company's white Ford F-150.

No estimate was given on the value of the stolen equipment.
