ESCONDIDO, Calif. — A man exposed himself to five teenage girls walking to school Monday morning in Escondido.

The man approached the girls in four separate incidents about a half- hour before school began, asking for information, speaking only in Spanish, said Lt. Eric Skaja of the Escondido Police Department.

The girls approached the man’s vehicle, which was stopped on Mission Avenue, and he then exposed himself, Skaja said.

None of the girls were touched or injured by the man, according to Skaja.

The man, described as a Latino in his 30s with short black hair, was driving a late 1990s four-door sedan with a roof rack. The first number of his license plate was 4.

Anyone with information was asked to call Escondido police.
