SAN DIEGO - City crews are working to repair a broken water main near the San Diego Zoo, according to city officials.

A 16-inch diameter cast iron water main broke around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday spilling water into the street for about an hour.

Customers affected by the shutdown include Spanish Village Art Center and the San Diego Natural History Museum. There are no reports of structural flooding.

Tuesday night's showing of the musical comedy "Murder for Two" is canceled. The box office is notifying patrons.

"Anyone holding tickets for tonight’s performance can call the box office at 619 234-5623 to arrange for another performance. We expect performances to resume tomorrow," The Old Globe said in a press release.

The museum and art center were without water as city crews worked on the site.
