SAN DIEGO -- A local church is offering a free chapel to anyone who is willing to move it to a new location.

The historic house of worship has been on the grounds of St. Luke's Episcopal Church for more than a century. The building has been neglected for years and needs about $200,000 in restoration work. It’s now being threatened, because the church has new plans for the land.

The diocese is offering $7,500 to assist a potential mover in their restoration project, but so far no one has accepted the very complicated offer.

Construction experts say it could cost an upwards of $40,000 just to move the building.
