SAN DIEGO – Officers temporarily closed northbound lanes on Interstate 805 in Kearny Mesa Tuesday after a woman threatened to jump off an overpass.

San Diego police were able to talk the apparent suicidal woman who was standing on the Convoy Street freeway overpass at 2:30 p.m.  and took her into custody within 30 minutes.

Lanes were reopened to traffic, police said.
