SAN DIEGO — A crash on Interstate 5 in Carmel Valley Friday left two southbound lanes temporarily blocked, but no one was hurt.

Two sedans collided south of Carmel Valley Road shortly before 2:30 p.m., and one came to a stop facing the wrong way, the California Highway Patrol said.

The carpool and far left lanes were briefly closed following the crash, but were later reopened, according to the CHP and Caltrans.
