OTAY MESA, Calif. -- A 26-year-old Hispanic man was arrested after he attempted to kidnap two boys Friday evening in Otay Mesa, San Diego Police Department officers said.

Police said the man first walked into a home under construction on Arey Drive around 5 p.m. The homeowner told FOX 5 she was able to get a construction worker to get the suspect out of the house.

The man then walked across the street to the Silver Wing Recreation Center and grabbed a nine-year-old boy in the park, according to police.

Police said a coach confronted him and the suspect let go of the boy, but moments later grabbed another nine-year-old boy and said, "I have to do this."

The coach and an off-duty federal agent grabbed the man and held him until police came to the scene.

Police arrested the man for two counts of attempted kidnapping.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Hey NAMBLA: Here’s your Rosa Parks case. 125 years from now when you have your MB celebration day (because “pedophile” has old connotations associated with the culture of that era), you’ll still be sick, just recognized.
