Married cops plead guilty to dealing drugs

SAN DIEGO - Two San Diego police officers, a husband and wife, pleaded guilty Wenesday to committing burglaries on duty to steal prescription medications and other crimes.

Bryce and Jennifer Charpentier face up to seven years and eight months in prison when they are sentenced Jan. 30.

They also admitted selling hydrocodone and being addicts in possession of firearms.

San Diego Sheriff’s drug enforcement deputies arrested the couple and searched their 4S Ranch home in June.

A search warrant, released on July 15, indicated the couple allegedly sought prescriptions to sell from 12 different doctor’s offices spread across San Diego County.
