SEATTLE – Nearly every time a popular or heated story is posted to Facebook, you’ll most likely see someone post the Michael Jackson eating popcorn meme.

Our affiliated news station in Seattle asked their fans – Why? Most responses said, “Because, the Internet.”

The Michael Jackson meme has been popping up on the Fox 5 Facebook page for some time now and has spawned a whole bunch of its own meme.

We’ve all finally given in and are embracing the phenomenon.  Thanks to Q13 Fox, we now have a photo gallery of the best submissions.
