SEATTLE – A news crew covering a jackknifed truck blocking morning rush hour traffic in Seattle narrowly escaped getting smashed by a semi-truck.

Video shows a KIRO news photographer Jay Nobles setting up his camera to show live video of the backed up traffic along Interstate 5 north of Seattle Monday morning. Within seconds, an out of control semi-truck is seen speeding past and smashing into a concrete barrier.

Nobles and the truck driver were uninjured, according to KIRO staff.
