SAN DIEGO — A group of San Diego businesses and a local Indian tribe promised Thursday to buy enough tickets to Sunday’s Chargers-Jaguars game to prevent it from being blacked out on television.

KFMB-TV, which will broadcast the game, teamed up with Union Bank, Donovan’s Steak & Chop House, the Brigantine Restaurants and the Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians to purchase enough tickets to prevent a Southern California television blackout of the game.

Some general and club seats are still available, according to the Chargers.

The game begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
