KEANASVILLE, N.C. – A highly-trained K-9 died after being left in a hot cruiser overnight in North Carolina.

The Duplin County Sheriff’s Department said last month Deputy Kevin Williams received a call about this his sick child at school and needed to leave work right away.

When he arrived home, he fed the dog, but forgot to take “Kela” out of the cruiser, officials said. The police dog was found dead the next morning, WGHP reported.

Kela, a Belgian Shepherd, was trained to track down people and narcotics.

The District Attorney’s Office did not bring charges against Williams citing there was no criminal intent, according to the sheriff’s department. Williams has been reassigned to courthouse baliff.

Kela was Deputy Kevin Williams’s partner, right? No criminal intent, correct? Williams is now a court baliff, right?
No linger serving and protecting the community? Sounds more like negligent homicide, or was it just a dog?

No “criminal intent”? But there was a death because he forgot to take his dog out of the car. Did there have to be criminal intent in order to charge him? The laws are the laws. It was def negligent. If he was any kind of man he’d make amends by being of service to these beatiful creatures.

However just imagine if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips,
this site could certainly be one of the most beneficial in its niche.
    Excellent blog!
