Four Locals To Fight In San Diego Boxing Showcase

SAN DIEGO- Four local boxers will fight in this Saturday’s ‘Path to Glory,’ a boxing match showcasing San Diego talent at the Harley Davidson, put on by Thompson Promotions.

After fighting all over the country, they`re looking forward to working from home for a change, and hope that this match will be the first step to establishing San Diego as a contending city on the national boxing league.

The locals featured include Giovanni Santillan in the main event. Santillan is a top prospect, 13-0, and he’s fighting a guy out of Jersey City who is 7-1-1 for the vacant Junior Welterweight NABF Jr. Title.

The other three San Diego fighters are Christopher Martin (27-3-3),  one of San Diego’s highest ranked local fighters, Adrian Vargas (9-0-1), another top local prospect, and Ulises Sierra (6-0-1).

There are seven fights scheduled on the card. Tickets are available at the Undisputed Gym in East Village.
