A California couple came up with a heartbreaking way to deal with their grief by celebrating the life of their stillborn daughter, Monroe Faith.

Richard, 26, and Emily Staley acknowledged their daughter has a member of their family by hiring a photographer to capture their brief experience with her, according to the Daily Mail.

It happened when the 26-year-old pregnant mother went to the hospital after she didn’t feel her baby moving and was told Monroe had passed away, the Daily Mail reported. Emily Staley gave birth to her full-term daughter the next day with their photographer, Lindsey Natzic-Villatoro, on hand to take pictures.

The pictures of the heartbreaking day were shared online and the family encouraged others to share them with compassion of their situation.

Natzic-Villartoro posted her emotional experience of taking the pictures on Facebook.
