ESCONDIDO, Calif. — Two armed robbers stole dozens of luxury watches worth almost half a million dollars from a North County jewelry store Tuesday night, police said.

The two men walked in to Royal Maui Jewelers in the North County Fair Mall at about 8:30 p.m. They forced employees at gunpoint to give them nearly 40 Rolex watches.

The robbers were last seen walking out of the store.

“They fled the parking lot in two separate vehicles, we don’t have vehicle description at the time, we’re in the progress of pulling video tape,” said Lt. Eric Skaja with the Escondido Police Department.

Detectives are going through surveillance video taken by North County Fair cameras in hope of getting a lead into who the suspects are.

Right now suspects are only describe as “black males in their late 20’s or early 30’s.”

Again black males robbing…..I’m so shocked! Must make the president proud. He’d probably say they remind him of what his sons would look like of he had sons (of course only if they were shot and killed by other than a black man.)
