Women hospitalized after crashing into parked cars

Ambulance Spring ValleySAN DIEGO — Two women were in the hospital Tuesday after they crashed into a couple of parked cars in Spring Valley.

The women were driving in a Grand Cherokee late Monday night when the Jeep went out of control at Apple Street and San Miguel Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Jeep destroyed a parked car and damaged a parked SUV, the CHP said.

The women were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
