Naked Man Normal HeightsSAN DIEGO — A man in his 20s was hospitalized after being found naked on a sidewalk in the Normal Heights neighborhood with broken ribs and stab wounds, police said Friday.

The victim was found bleeding from at least one stab wound to the chest on the Adams Avenue bridge over Interstate 805 at around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to San Diego Police Department Lt. Eric Hays.

“He’s got one stab wound, a fractured orbital bone, broken jaw, road rash, rib fractures and a broken wrist,” said Hays.

When police arrived, an off-duty lifeguard was giving the man CPR. He was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Detectives told Fox 5 they got a call Friday from a man who believes the victim is his roommate.

“The roommate called us and said the door was wide open when he returned home — saw some blood inside and a knife on the floor,” said Hays.

According to police, the victim was in a drug-induced coma, but expected to survive. The victim’s name has not been released.

I don't understand what happened. first the cops say they found him on the bridge in this condition, but the roommate said he found the knife with blood inside the house with the doors wide open. Was he attacked at his house than taken to the bridge or was he attacked on the bridge?! he was my friend too and I cant believe anyone would attack him. nicest person I have ever met in the whole universe.
