Masked gunman robs safe at pizza restaurant

SAN DIEGO — A masked gunman robbed a Domino’s Pizza in San Diego, police said Monday.

police gunThe gunman entered the Domino’s Pizza at 3380 Palm Avenue at 10:08 p.m. Sunday through a back door, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

“He displayed a handgun and demanded the employee open the safe,” Stafford said. “The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.”

There were no injuries, he said.

The suspect was described as black, about 35 years old, 6 feet 1, with a medium build, wearing a mask, black hoodie and black pants.
