SAN DIEGO – A 34-year-old man suffered a fractured femur when he crashed his bicycle into a car that pulled out of an apartment complex in front of him, a San Diego police officer said.
The crash occurred at 11:37 p.m., Saturday in the 3100 block of 30th Street, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The man was riding southbound when a 29-year-old man driving a 2008 Toyota sedan pulled out of an apartment complex in front of the bicyclist,Stafford said.
“The bicyclist struck the car and suffered a fractured femur. He was transported to a local trauma center for treatment,” the officer said.
The incident remains under investigation.

Not hard to figure out, the driver violated the cyclist's right of way by pulling out in front of him, just the same as if he had been hit by a car on the street when he pulled out of the driveway. I would be willing to bet that LEO won't see it that way and will try to blame the cyclist for being there to get hit…
