NATIONAL CITY, Calif. — Police arrested a man accused of molesting a teenager girl on a public bus last week after a security officer recognized him near a trolley stop in downtown San Diego Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier Tuesday, police issued a bulletin that included a description of the suspect and a photo taken with a bus security camera. A Metropolitan Transit System security officer spotted a man matching the description at about 3 p.m. near the trolley stop at 5th Avenue and C Street. Police took Dajamah Adonay Blevins, 27, into custody, and he was booked into jail on sexual battery charges.

Blevins is accused of boarding an MTS bus at a depot on 24th Street in National City about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, sat next to the victim and fondled her, according to police.

When the girl tried to move away, the man blocked her way and continued assaulting her, asking her age while he did so and telling her he was 24 years old, Sgt. Alex Hernandez said.

When the bus stopped at 30th Street and Highland Avenue, the assailant got off.

The victim gave a detailed description of her assailant and a surveillance camera on the bus captured images of him.

    Unfortunately,
The crime and punishment no longer jive… A simple firing squad would suffice, of course following a fare trial and judgment from a jury of his peers! My karma catch up with the brother…
