SAN MARCOS, Calif. – A roof collapsed at a shopping center in San Marcos temporarily trapping people inside Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Emergency crews in San Marcos were on the scene of a structural collapse in the 700 block of Center Drive, near Nordahl Road and State Route 78, a dispatcher said.

Apparently the facade of a commercial building fell, briefly trapping some people inside storefronts.

There are no injuries, the dispatcher said.

The headline on this article is inaccurate. It wasn't the Taco Bell Façade that fell, but the building's next door.

I was just thinking the same thing….The bead shop, postal annex and a few other businesses are completely separate from taco bell

Fox5 needs to get with it and change this story line and hire people that know what they are talking about. Formerly from the area and right away I knew this was incorrect.
