Medical MarijuanaLAKESIDE, Calif. — Police arrested a man hiding in the bushes early Friday while investigating a burglary at a medical marijuana dispensary in Lakeside, authorities said.

The break-in in the 8500 block Los Coches Road was reported about 4 a.m., according to San Diego County sheriff’s Sgt. Tom Seiver. A neighbor reported hearing somebody breaking into¬† the rear door of the dispensary and hearing the sound of someone running away a short time later.

Deputies searched the area and discovered 37-year-old Wendell Coleman hiding in bushes nearby off of Snow White Drive, Seiver said. Coleman had marijuana and marijuana baked goods with him, Seiver said. The dispensary owner identified the items as marijuana products stolen from the business, Seiver said. The owner estimated that the four pounds of marijuana stolen from the dispensary is worth about $45,000.

Coleman was arrested for burglary.

It’s obvious that patient care isn’t the objective..outrageous profit, nurturing a circle of egocentric growers and asking citizens to believe this is a good thing?
