Apartment robbed near SDSU

SAN DIEGO – An apartment near the San Diego State University campus was robbed early Saturday, unbeknownst to the resident, who was in another part of the home.

Sometime between 12:50 a.m. and around 1:10 a.m., the suspect entered the apartment at 5460 55th St. through an open window and took the resident’s Samsung cellular phone and a Kindle, according to campus police.

The victim did not see the suspect, and no description was provided.

Police officials issued a reminder for area residents to lock and secure their windows and doors and immediately report criminal activities.crime-scene
