Grantville Hit and RunOfficers were called to break up a fight between several people in the parking lot in front of the hookah shop at 5959 Mission Gorge Road at 1:37 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

Police say a group of people were at the hookah lounge to celebrate a birthday.

Officers found the woman suffering from two broken legs and possibly a broken pelvis, police said in a statement.

The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
